The devices invite you to stop and listen closely – can you hear a future ocean? The sound you hear is what Hawaii-based cellist and sound artist, Anna Callner Pare, imagined future oceans to encompass. Recordings of Pacific and Atlantic surf intermingle with voice, touch, and the cello. It is a reminder that future oceans depend on humans, just as humans depend on future oceans.
